Pedagogical strategies for SPT teaching

Here we will present different themes that we have been working with while developing our SPT teaching strategies.

We are Liv Fabricius, Andrea Chlopczik, Anders Fabricius, and Vivian Fabricius. We have worked together in different constellations and had different types of SPT training, SPT courses, and retreats in Sweden since 2015. Together we have worked systematically to develop the pedagogical approach that we use in our SPT teaching. Here you will find a few examples of what we have been working with and some reflections on that.

30th anniversary

30 years in the same place, dig where you stand, your life is where you are.

At the beginning of October we had our 30th anniversary. We, Anders and Vivian Fabricius, celebrate that we have owned, lived in and run the place we call Resursgården for 30 years. Directly translated from swedish, Resursgården means: Resource farm…an actual place where we have gathered our material and immaterial resources, to make them available to our friends, guests and participants. With hope that people visiting us can use their stay to find own resources.

Tiny steps and nano-practice.

For most of us who deal with SPT professionally, this year of the pandemic has been a year of cancelled events and courses. Myself, I am a bit too old and conservative to go online with SPT, I haven’t been tempted. For me SPT is something you do in person. SPT is, as I see it, something where all my senses are active… Online seems odd and two dimensional to me. I want to tell you about two tiny episodes from the zone of what is possible offline, tiny steps and nano-practice, valuable tiny pearls that I carry in my heart.

Truckterapi kan inte rekommenderas

En tidig höstmorgon för 30 år sen, välter en truck över mig, på ett par sekunder förändras mitt liv. Nu många år senare är olyckan fortfarande en del av min vardag. Inte som ett problem, men som en resurs, en påminnelse om att det finns saker i livet som är viktigare än andra. Mera än tio år efter olyckan, när jag trodde att jag hade lagt den fullständigt bakom mig, fick jag möta olyckan igen i full styrka…
